I expect to see more of this. In the near future it wouldn't surprise me if some of the nuttier states start seizing some of the 80s grey market German imports, Aprilia 125 and 250 two-smokes that have been registered for the street, and supermotoed dirt bikes with tags. It is a win/win/win for these states. They get to look like they are doing something for the environment, they are also sticking it to "rich rule breakers", and they get the proceeds of selling the vehicle which gives the appearance of helping their massive budget deficits. Anyone in CA or MA or similarly uptight states who thinks they have "gotten away with something" concerning the street legality of a vehicle may want to sell the vehicle or transfer it out of state if possible.

Sounds like this guy broke a bunch of laws and got away with it for quite a while, despite having a very high-profile car.

It would be legal in Canada. Only has to be 15 years old here.

Thats bull shit..
How many where made? 10? I think by law if there are under 100 it should be exempt from our stupid ass DOT and Registration laws. BTW if I'm not mistaken Europe have a stricter safety laws. (I mean seriously they don't have cup holders for safety reasons)
