I need your help!! MS Mud Run
In short, I want your money!!
I'm doing the MS Mud Run - it's a 10K military style run and obstacle course - in the MUD. This event is very seriously important to me - My Dad has MS, and is doing MIRACULOUSLY well, no doubt in part to the extensive research the National MS Society helps support. So the research they do for MS is not just important, but EFFECTIVE. Visit my page for more info: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/neebelung And check out the photo gallery on the mud run page for a better idea of what it's all about (and pics of hot chicks in mud) http://eventfln.nationalmssociety.or...N_FLN_homepage I know times are tight for everyone, but if you can even sponsor me for a dollar, or $5, it's hugely appreciated. And since I'm on one of five teams representing the Jacksonville RollerGirls, I'll also try to get as many muddy girl pics for ya'll as possible. |

My father has MS too. Not sure what stage he has. He can still move normally but he gets worn out.

Done, cause I'm a sucker for naked women in the mud.
This is a naked thing, right? JC

Just an update:
Mud Run was yesterday - what a friggin BLAST!!!!!!!! Seriously an amazing event all around. There were some 2800 runners (3x last year's number). The course was also apparently much tougher. We had a co-ed team of 6, for the 10k military boot camp style course... And it was a killer!!!!! Hottest day we've had so far this year, in BDU's and hiking boots... There were belly crawls through mud under netting, hill climbs & slides, tunnels to swim through, walls to climb, rope swings, nets and tightropes, over/unders (swimming underwater in mud to get under a log, them climb over the next one)... Not to mention a couple miles of mid-calf to knee-deep mud to trudge through... It was aMAzing fun. Great team-building activity, a great fitness challenge, and all in support of a great cause. This event raised over $300,000 for the National MS Society. I just wanted to thank everyone again for supporting me on this - I raised $325!! And I know they do similar events in other cities, so by all means, if you see it advertised in your area, round up a couple friends and go get muddy!!! |
