Red face Cheers to Dad!

For those that don't know... my dad passed away last year on Mar 23rd. Just weeks after his bday Mar 8, 1950. That is today, which he would have been 60.

So just like I have been a part of with a buds family, I'm starting the tradition. On significant days. You do a round of drinks of their favorite. So for my dad, he use to drink Southern Comfort (SoCo) before us kids, sometimes mixed with 7up or Squirt. Then he was more known for drinking long islands and 7&7 (Seagrams 7 & 7up).

So for dad. RIP & We miss you.

My BIL, SIL, Wife, and me. + an extra for dad (that I drank)

Then for round 2 (3 for me).

Wife did SoCo with OJ which was also yummy. Guess dad had good taste!!

Thanks guys.

As I said today at the cemetary... I'll be there a good amount over the next few months... call me old fashion but you do that on important days. His birth day, probably his death day, him and mom's anniversary day, and my bday. I always go alone... that's just how I prefer it.

I think on the next time I should take the drink with me.

The ol' graveside visit has always made me feel a little strange, I dunno.

Killer tradition though!
