light weight battery with massive power able to start over and over bikes up to 135′ motors and that you can easily hide is the dream of all custom builders. A company called Antigravity Batteries makes such a claim for street motorcycles up to 1800 cc, all this in a very light package of 3.1 pounds package measuring only 4.25″ Long x 3.0″ Wide x 5.0″ Tall.

This company designs and builds in the USA a full line of motorsports batteries using the best Power Cells and material available manufactured by the American based company who provides lithium batteries for Ford, GM, Toyota, Tesla just to name a few.

Antigravity Batteries claim that their batteries are: 1- The most powerful in the smallest, lightest package that is available today with sizes from 1/2 to 2/3rd smaller than a typical lead acid battery, yet putting out twice the cranking amps. 2- A dramatically better starting with a larger ignition spark due to the fact that the voltage stays much higher on the starting pulse than lead/acid batteries. 3- A much ligther weight, on average 75-80% lighter than the lead acid battery they replace.

My only concern is what appears to be their top mount posts. otherwise, lighter with the same performence is great.

Fuck me, I thought the engine was going to jump out of the frame when I hit the starter.

Serious cranking amps, smaller and lighter. I love this battery.

We've been using a Lithium Ferrous (LiFePO4) in the SV for a few months now (April '11). It's a 4 cell battery, and it only weighs about 1lb.
Since this bike is track only, it sits pretty much all during the work week, and hasn't had a hiccup yet. (I bought the charger just in case, but haven't needed it so far).

I have no reason to believe that any of the batteries posted would last as long (if not longer) than a factory battery.

I've had some Yuasa's last 10 years, and some crap out after two years.

My Odyssey is three years old, and I've never put a charger on it. Even after sitting for 4 months at a time, it cranks right up.

Road Racing World did a nice write up a few months back outlining the main players in the lightweight battery world.

Most have a 2 year warranty. Ballistic has a 3 year warranty.

Just make sure the battery is ok with your charging system.
