Went down today... what an experience!
Well, i dropped the bike today. took one of the offramps and hit a little sand and then the bike drifted into a Tree branch and the bike slid out from under me... Did some major damage to the left side mid fairing, broke my shifter, and scratched up my clutch lever and mirror, but those are easy fixes... Got everything on order and hope to have it back on the road next week. As for my self, i got road rash on my left arm and my leg, but i have it all cleaned up and bandaged up. I was wearing my german brain bucket when i went down and was able to keep my head and the helmet from hitting the asphalt. Definitely an experience i will not forget. as soon as the bike is back together, ill be riding again... Ill post up pics when i get some.

I have a full face helmet but the brain bucket is my cruising helmet... I was able to keep my head up so no damage to my head or anything...

glad to hear the bike will be back on the road soon. she's way too pretty to sit on the sidelines. be careful out there. |
