Default you have to chuckle at this

KSDK-- The outcome may leave you asking, "What are the chances?" Two men trying to escape from police drive the wrong way on Interstate 70 and collide head-on with another car. It turns-out both vehicles were stolen.

Police say the men that led them on the chase are brothers, Anthony, 23, and Darrell, 22, Thomas, of Hazelwood. Investigators say a St. Charles County Sheriff Deputy was on his way to the St. Louis Jail Saturday night when he spotted a stolen vehicle on West Florissant Avenue. When he tried to pull it over, police say the suspects rammed the patrol car and fired several shots. The deputy was not hit and has minor injuries from the incident.

Trying to flee police, the men started driving the wrong-way on I-70 between Union and Riverview. The stolen car they hit head-on had four passengers between the ages of 15 and 18. The four are at a local hospital in various conditions from serious to critical. Police are not releasing their names. The Thomas brothers died at the scene.

Two stolen vehicles, one crash, two dead, five injured.

Police say they found the gun that was used to shoot at the deputy.

Un-fricking-believable!!!! It makes you think though, the two brothers were obviously either hardened criminals or headed that way and the teenagers were more than likely just joyriders.

A lot of teenagers that steal cars do it for the joyride...... not all do it to take to chop shops and make money or anything like that.

No way...ask their relatives, I can see the quote now - "They were good kids, went to church every Sunday and have NEVER been in trouble before."

According to all 4 mothers it was that damn peer pressure and if they would keep better track of their own kids none of this would have happened.

The one driving will get probabtion, the guy in the front passenger seat will have community service and the 2 in the back seat will get off scot free, because they didnt know it was stolen and went for just the free weed, and the girls they were promised to meet.

No, they actually have criminal records so it'll be about how "The were turning their lives around. All that bad stuff was behind them, they were getting jobs and everything."
