That poor guy..

In 96' an F14 took out three of houses here in Nashville. The pilot did a full power takeoff, basically straight up on afterburners, flamed out at the top and dropped like a rock into a neighborhood. Killed 5 including him and the Nav Ofc.
Planes and house's are a bad mix..

Right now he is sorting through all the business cards every law firm within 3000 mile radius has sent him.

He doesn't blame the pilot now but after the lawyers get his ear, there is going to be shitload of blame thrown around.

Pretty damn gracious and understanding of the guy. He just lost his whole family and he didn't blame anybody.

I hope that the US government would be smart enough to just settle with the guy for millions of dollars of compensation. Can't bring back the family, but that's the least Uncle Sam can do.

Why would he sue the pilot? Everyone knows that's chump change. That's why it'll be a lawsuit against McDonnell Douglas for making the F/A-18, the United States Armed Forces for having a contract with McDonnell Douglas to produce the F/A-18, all branches of Government who had a hand in supporting production of the F/A-18, and all branches of the Government that didn't support the production but didn't do enough to stop it, and Walmart, because they're a faceless corporation that people like to pile on and they seem to have plenty of money.

It was just down the road from my sister...she knew them in passing...freaked everyone out. Someone I know was in the gold building on Briley...said it looked like the pilot fought the plane to keep it from hitting the building (highly populated) and tried to aim it away...sad...
