Vag Cleaners
Started the process at looking at vac cleaners - anyone have any opinions on which are good and which suck ass?
My situation: 100% wood floors + several wool rugs + small dog. I looked around online and the opinions were like throwing shit at a dartboard... |

obviously get something with a detachable hose and the attachments. I have a dirt devil. It's got lots of toys with it but i'm not overly impressed with how well it works.

I bought a Dyson off of Woot.com. That thing will suck the paint off the wall.

This one was Cheap...Found it at home Depot...Works like a charm...and the cord rewinds into the side so you dont have to deal with that shit.
Works like a Champ No bags Either...And you just push a button and the bottom opens up which makes cleanup easy. Wow I just took a picture and reviwed my Fucking Vacumm...Lol

We have one of the Dyson ball things cause my step son has allergys and its supposed to kick ass. All I know is when it runs the thing has a high pitch noise that hurts my ears but does not seem to bother the wife. No really thats not a joke.

Since you mentioned hardwood floors, I have to note, all of your larger carpet designed vacs will usually just blow the dirt and pet hair around, and AWAY from the vacuum.
Take the rugs out regularly and beat them, . Im serious. Shake them, and pickup a bagless, allergenless type vac if you must vacuum them. For the floors themselves, pick up a cheap, $20 dirt devil knock off at walmart. Cheap, easy to carry around, and the best part is, they dont blow the fur and dirt around. I had 6 dogs, 3 cats and 2 ferrets at one time, and unless you saw them running around, you would never have known I had pets. Im kinda OCD about it. Heres a pic of what is similar to what I always use, great for hardwood, tile and linoleum. And this too: |
