Default Carpentry?

Anyone on here into woodwork like routers and coping and building their own tables..chairs...entertainment centers? I love going into the workshop and creating something and am just getting back into it...fuggin ex and taking all of my tools and s#!t! Looking for some projects and tips. I am gonna try to make my own router cut led lit sign for my bar. Post up some pics.

well i built the canopy for my fishtank. its still needs a finishing touch...

edit: i also just recently built stand to hold two garbage cans filled with water.

i have pics of these if you want...

not presently. I have built a few bars but I live some place now where I really can't do anything like that.

ehh the only wood working I ever really got into was when I installed car stereo... really got into it when I had to lay frame for fiberglass molds.

but then figured out that Styrofoam works just as well and takes no time to make and shape... and if ya fuck up it's easy and quick to redo.

started with over 400 bucks in oak and plywood








size fitting



building the hinged top




interior priming / painting for water proof

i ended up cutting a large rectangle out of the top for heat escape and weight issues.
i still need to add the trim around the front doors to block escaping light, and some handles on the top to help lifting.
