Drummer
Ok as you all know, I've been waiting for a good pipe to be designed and released for the 1125.
We also all know that Drummer makes some kick ass cans for the Buells. WELL, the Drummer is finally here. The look The sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UtU_V3boFw The price $979.95... Now I'm definatly waiting on the Spec Ops. |

The sound is nice.
The look would be ok, if there were a chin fairing available. The price is a bit high for a slip on. I know it's a drummer. I know it's adding 10+hp I don't really care though. I just want more sound, good looks, and similar to stock performance. I know Odie is working one up that will be done shortly. I'll wait to at least compare the two. |

from the looks of it im assuming sound was their #1 goal and any power they made was incedental. and for that price id expect it to be titanium with 10+ welds

I've wanted one for some time. But they're way overpriced second hand(third hand?). And I've heard of it taking up to a year for ppl to receive theirs..

The sound is pretty good, but as you said, way too much for a slip-on.

I think I would have to look into a stainless or aluminum Hi-Perf car muffler with dual inlet/outlets and build my own for a couple of hundred bucks. I would hate to pay a $1000 for an under the engine slip-on muffler.
Maybe it wouldn't work, but for that kind of money I would be under the bike with a tape measure and a Summit Racing catalog figuring it out. |
