I too am curious about this. Aside from routine maintenance and the chain/sprocket replacements that are typically due every so often, what has this bike needed?

I used to hang out with Jared a lot when he lived in FL

and the guy barely comes online anymore so ill see if I know and remember some of the answers

tires n brakes : Loads.... he has his own tire changer... so that should give you an idea of how much he goes through.

mechanical problems, he had an issue with his charging system after 100,000 miles..

and his transmission started to feel "worn" and not smooth so he replaced a couple gears and did some sort of rebuild... he claims that the bike shifts better than new now.... this also was done after 100,000 miles

OIL... get this. he changes his oil every 5k miles. thats right... none of the "1000 , 15000 , 3000ZOMG " oil change intervals. i dont understand why alot of you guys sit there wasting money and time with oil changes every 1, 2 , 3k miles btw Mobile 1 synthetic and honda OEM filter is what uses

His speedo probably reads 50,000 miles right now its a 5digit speedo so it rolled back to 00000 after 99999miles

here is a video of the rollback http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwiOyq2Q9-I

what else?.... he did a few valve checks and they were within spec till after 100,000miles then a few needed to be a adjusted... im not sure where it sits now... then again he doesnt exactly do it every 16k miles... i think he waited 40k miles once.
