My daugters hamster died today
Yup 2 years after we got him he died, so we buried him in the backyard. I would be very happy except she's been balling her eyes out for the past hour

Hey, she's a woman-in-training. Let her cry. Besides, he lived longer than a lot of hamsters. May he RIP, and enjoy his big exercise wheel in the sky.
Soooooooo, Dad, she needs a hug, and maybe a trip to the ice cream place. Gee, I wonder how hamster years = two human years? MMMmmmm....

Sorry to hear that. Death is a hard thing for a child to learn. Give her lots of dady hugs and yes ice cream with lots of sprinkles does wonders!
