That sounds like a good way to get killed in Jersey... I know I would be pissed at some kook doing 5-15mph UNDER the speed limit. Especially with all the accelerate and coast crap "hypermilers" do.

I love how he says he caught up and yelled at the guy...
ya fuck'n moron... that's a good way to get caught in a loosing battle of road rage... ESPECIALLY on a 250. it's one thing to do it on a 600 or 1000 where you can loose him quickly... but odds are that car will out accelerate a 250 when you're starting at 70-90. and not sure how he caught up to the guy anyways if the guy was doing 90... it'd take forever for the 250 to get up there... |

I can't remember but do the older 250s take speed and odometer readings from the front wheel or the countershaft? Just wondering since that would make a difference in "perceived" mpg. Also, his tire change will also make a difference in his odometer readings. To be honest, I thought that this was a joke and that was the punchline. I don't have the math skills to calculate how big a difference his tire swap will make but it's probably significant.
