Default Since when cagers start waving at each other?

I'm noticing a trend lately with cagers waving at each other, like Corvette drivers waving to other Corvette drivers and shit like that.

Isn't that some lame shit or what?

Some dweeb on a 325 shitbox with wing and chin spoiler tried to wave at me at a stop light. I was like, "Dude, you're on a Fast & Furious wannabe and I'm driving a fucking M6, what possibly is similar between you and me other than the stupid Roundel badges?"

I have had people driving the same car as me wave. Never had someone with any other kind of car wave.

I was once driving a friend's Buick and passed another Buick and I waved. That old lady was confused.

In the remote parts of Texas and Arkansas we wave at any other cage we see. It is just polite as they may be the only vehicle you see for 30-40 minutes. Here in the Urban confines the only waves you get in a cage are one fingered?!

Around here most bikers do it...Vette owners do it...boaters do it...just being friendly I guess.

I admit though...if they wave I'll wave back and not look down on them because their boat...bike...or Vette isn't as nice as mine.

So if I was driving an M6 and some dude in his 325 happened to wave...yep I'd acknowledge him and wave back...no biggie...the vehicle doesn't make the man.

Yep.

Boaters do it.

Bikers do it.

Jeep people waver to other Jeepers.

I can't imagine BMW-ers waving. Women drivers are bad enough already, they don't need to wave at each other.

The only Jeep drivers I could see doing it are Wrangler owners.........Everyone else is just a soccer mom or suburbanite.

Mini owners wave at each other. In fact, on the Mini-owners forum they have a Nice tactic each month. Things like, paying other people's parking meters [which IS illegal in certain parts]... or letting people into traffic, or paying their toll for them, or - one month was to buy the order behind you in the drive through. Just random acts of kindness.

Whats the matter fnfalman? Being nice beneath you?
