Sadly, these situations are turning into a normal situation but what kills me on this one is that one of the kids managed to evade all the shots and survive the incident. Just sick.

What you are seeing is the desire by every "underachiever" to grab his/her 15 Minutes of Fame - even if in death. More and more 'regular people' are coming to the conclusion that there's no way to get ahead, no realy chance at improving your lot in life, and that the game is rigged that way.

If the pattern holds, more and more of these events will unfold until the common belief is that its OK to go after those that 'rig the game' (i.e. you have revolution).

Shit if you are going to take yourself out at least take out other criminals with you and leave your innocent family alone. If I was going to take myself out, I get a map of the local sex offender registry and cap off a few of them first.
