Default Carbon Fiber Goodness (pics)

When I bought my Buell the previous owner gave me a CF chin fairing for this bad boy. Problem was...when the bike was knocked over two of the mounts for the fairing busted....so he put the original back on.

Well...yesterday it was gorgeous out. After another ride to and from work I decided to see if I could make this work. I came up with a temporary mount for the chinny...it will suffice until I can work out a better system.

I also re-sanded and polished the headers. After a run they will turn a gorgeous gold again.

Pics...

I think I like the stock look better. How much lighter is that than the stock one?

I dont know...I didn't weigh either of them. It's noticably lighter though. However, I don't really care much about weight savings. I dont race and it's not like the bike is heavy.

I just think it looks good.

Looks nice I think. Small touch and not gaudy at all.

Agreed.

Nicely done without over-doing.
