Impressive.

Is it really an M3 though?

At that point the only difference between the M and the regular 3 series is the flared fenders.

There are so many starving children in the world that could be fed for years with the money it took to build that car. And I would line them all up in a line and hit them at 180mph WITH this car.

With that weight distribution I'm sure it understeers like a mofo (until you goose the throttle of course)

The extra weight will definitely affect handling no matter what but it does look like they tried to keep the engine back as far as possible to minimize the effect. While it would be interesting to see the difference between the car with this engine (~300lbs heavier than stock) vs. the 5 liter V8 M5 engine (~120lbs heavier than stock) I doubt anyone willing to spend the money for a swap like this is willing to do it with a lower powered engine.

Wow, that is some beautiful craftsmanship! I'm not even a BMW guy and that gave me wood.
