Default Anyone Run Dunlop Q2s?

I normally run Bridgestone race tires for my canyon adventures, currently have a R10 in medium up in front (just put it on today) and a Hard BT003 Pro in the rear (summers get hot here). My buddy, who normally runs Michelin Pilot Races (crap IMO), got a set of Dunlop Q2s. Now he is a slight notch faster than me due to a higher level of crazy, but I've read alot of awesome reviews on this tire for street and track use. Basicall, phenonemal grip, sharp turn in, longevity and can run an A pace track day. One of the main reasons I run Race tires is for the quick turn in, so if these Dunlops turn in as quick as the reviews, I might be going to these and saving 150 bucks a set.

Anyone run these yet?

Yup, like em a lot. Not much in the way of corners around here to really push them on but the shape is much more aggressive than my old pilot sports.

What kind of life do you get out of them?
I'm trying to decide if I should switch from powers, where I get about 6K from a set.

I run Q2's on both the B King and on the Hayabusa. Honestly nothing holds up real well on the rear of the Turbo Busa but tire life is on Par with OEM. They are better by far than stock on the B King. Both Bikes are bikes and very torquey as far as handling go they exceed my moderate level of crazy in the turns. I have been pleased with them and if you watch you can oftern finde great deals on them

I change tires about every three months before the side of the tire wears down past the wear bars OR the tire has heat cycled too often and they feel hard.

The Q2s are quite cheap though.
