Actually,the tires were new when I took that pic AND I get off the bike enough so that I don't have to scrape the pegs to get around a corner! Of course,you're right at my age and considering the amount of damage I'm carrying,I don't chase the limits of grip like I used to. I'm happy with double posted limit these days... Believe me man, I'm not hating, your bike is gorgeous. If you saw mine right now (or any pics that were taken in the last 6 months) I'm sure you wouldn't think too highly of it. She's a rideable work in progress. But like fine wine, all good things come in time.

And as far as accents go, if your bike is one color and one color only, then accents that don't match just look cheesy and thrown together.
