no idea... yeah I can't find the origional autoweek article now... weird... I know when Piz first posted it I read it from the site...
the other thread I posted shows his true colors... and one of the posts... if I am remembering correctly (I'll go look now) has a list of his lawsuits... he had several. |

Im not defending the guy, but with 3000 people - there are bound to be some people who expected more than they got. When one is dealing with $100k+ vehicles, lawsuits get involved. Its a nature of the biz.
Per the guy who thought he was getting a stroker motor for 130k... those are things which are in "contracts" that one signs prior to handing over their amex card. Guys shouldnt "think" they are getting XXXXX - they should know via the contract. |

Iwould have to say dude sounds like a douchebag I actually have met steve saleen and he is a super nice guy. An 1100 horse viper would be undrivable anyhow IMO I think the competition coupe would be faster on the race track but the 1100 hundred horse gts would incrase the size of your penis.

The GT-r tranny is barely able to handle the stock engine and this asshole isn't beefing up the driveline?

I like the car and like what Hennessy is capable of doing with it and the Viper as well but wouldn't trust him with one f*cking dollar of my money period.

I wouldn't give him a penny. I guess he's exhausted all the Dodge/Chrysler customer base, and needs to find a new group of well-heeled enthusiasts to rip off who aren't aware of his reputation.

First you have to assume that he'll perform the mods and give you your car back in one piece. Then, you'll have to assume that he cares about what kind of issues he creates w/ respect to reliability.
That's a lot of assuming for an established crook! |
