Gina, are you looking for general Motard information? Or, looking for someone in Vegas that rides a motard on the track?

Supermoto usually refers to the actual racing that has a dirt / flat-track / paved course. Motard generally refers to a motorcycle that is dirtbike with street wheels/tires.

Just thinking of motard options and converting for a mx/dirt bike for go kart or supermoto track. Just really need wheel/spacing etc info. I'm looking at a 150 but being that its so little i don't know if it still takes 17 inch wheels or do i go smaller?

I've mentioned to a buddy of mine that honda came out with a 230 cc SM but he said it would be too slow, but thinks i would like the 150.

www.supermotojunkie.com Best forum online for the information.

The smaller ones would be alright for track use - though the motors tend to be high maintenance if you are running them non-stop. If you want it for the street at all - I would go larger.

it would be mainly for the track. I saw one on CL for 2k, either 06 or 07. I wouldn't run it on the street though, i'm accepting my limitations as a midget, the ones i can run on the street is too tall for me, and i dont' want a slammed to the ground motard. With extra wheels i would just trailer it offroad, a smaller bike would be easier for me anyway in the dirt, since right now i'm pretty much on baby trails on the DR.

The beautiful thing about the 150's is that you can run either 12 or 17 inch wheels!

Great thanks! Too bad wheels are so freaking expensive. So the size i would be looking for as far as width, would they be fairly easy to find? Do i just get the wheels and plug them in or do i need other parts to make it fit?
