You know, it's a powerful thing to be reminded that you are mortal. I'm so sorry you are having a difficult time with everything right now.

RIP

Somewhat...

He had a heart attack which caused his lungs to fill up with fluid, by the time he got to the hospital his body was swelling up (edema), his heart could not receive a stint, or bypass surgery his veins were twisted in such a way neither were an option(at least this is what I was told).

So even if they were to bring the edema down in the body and remove the fluid in the lungs I am not sure how the quality of life would have been. Also during the the start of it all his oxygen levels dropped into the 30's, and his heart stopped twice during this, so we did not know if he would have received brain damage. He was put on a machine to breath for him, and was put into a coma to try to get his body to work and fix all this stuff. While the doctors were putting enough into him to dope an elephant.

All of this was sudden, was going in for regular check ups, he actually had a doc. appointment a day after he had his heart attack. He was healthy, ate good, and exercised. It can happen in an instant ladies and gentlemen...

Sorry to hear this bud.

2009 has been shitty for me and my family thus far as well. It's just a comedy of errors at this point. We all got to the point the other day where we were cracking up about it because things just keep going wrong.

Oh well, chin up.
