I got the bionic cause i got a great deal on it off of ebay. The main reason i got it was for the back protector. A guy another,forum im part of struck a tree with his body. He had to wear a chest/back brace and just got it off last month.
I was going to get the Icon vest but they dont make a small size. |

I have a bionic jacket as well. The Stella womens model. Love it. I mostly bought it for Dual sporting since dirt bike armor just doesn't seem tough enough for a street crash. Haven't worn it too much yet.

Tigger, thanks for the insight. The vast majority of the riding we do out here is low-speed stuff, so I'm thinking that the dirtbike stuff might hold up. I just want something between the knee and the pavement without having to put on my full leathers for cruising to Bike Nights and helping out on the MSF pad.

I'm going to say something against my nature because when it comes to jeans, the lower the better! But obviously, if you're buying these for protection, they need to stay on and cover your entire ass. Low cut jeans do neither!
