Default Another one...

Boxer Vernon Forrest was killed Saturday night.

RIP Vernon.

We are sad to report that former world champion Vernon Forrest was tragically and senselessly murdered at about 11PM on Saturday night in Atlanta during an attempted robbery at a gas station. Reportedly Forrest had stopped to put air in the tire of his late model Jaguar when he was robbed at gunpoint. Forrest, 38, was also armed and pursued but another assailant was hiding and ambushed the champion. According to Atlanta police, Forrest was shot multiple times with a semi-automatic weapon.

On the fight channel they are saying he was shot 7 or 8 times. This bullshit has to stop.

That is the problem with carrying a gun, you will be tempted to use it.

If you are being robbed, give them what they want, even if you are carrying. Nothing you have is worth your life.

Pursuing the crook was the mistake that cost him his life, not carrying a gun.

Yes and no. There was another guy there and by the sounds of it the first guy didn't get the car, so the second guy who was hiding still could have made an attempt at getting the car.

But I do agree with letting the car go. No car is worth more then any life. Well most, a Pinto is worth much more then the two robbers.

Man. This was just on American's Most Wanted.

For one, Vernon was robbed at a busy gas station.

There were 4 guys in the car that the robber got out of.

Vernon chased the guy for blocks before being gunned down by one of the other four cock sucking pricks. I don't know what the hell Vernon was thinking chasing him that far. For one he should have got back in his car and he should have called 911. He would still be alive.

Here is the AMW story.

Would he have chased him if he did not have a gun?
