I actually do think the drinking and driving sentence is absurd.
I also think that if your drinking and driving and cause damage, or injury, you should get a much much stiffer sentence. To me personal responsibility is accepting responsibility for messing up. Not the potential to mess up. I think speeding laws are ridiculous as well, they are nothing but revenue generation. If it had anything to do with safety, our cars would be limited to a certain speed. |

Then we have the racing and stunting laws, that have your car seized at the roadside for a week without recourse. Regulation is one thing. Penalizing people without giving them their day in court is another.

I'm visiting your province right now.
We were coming back to my gf's sisters last night. She got pulled for 30 over in my car. And I had my old insurance card in the car. The new one is at my house in ns. He knocked it down to 20 over which saved her 200 bones, and issued her a warning for the proof of insurance since it was my fault and not hers. I know the laws are strict. I was just happy that he was lenient. I reeked of booze, and he never questioned it at all. |

OK, so out of the OPP GTR area. Still surpirsed though, because that's still part of the area covered by Highway Division, which is Fantino's pet.
