Why hookers are bad: Apparently a hired lady placed 2 AA batteries into this fellow's penis to keep it hard and they could not remove them. Had to go to the OR to have it opened and removed. He then had to explain to his wife why he was in surgery.

Thats my frustration every night. In our ER we have a main and a fast track area, but in fast track we work up a lot of stuff and do see kinda sick patients quite regularly. Mostly due to just not having enogh room for all the sick patients.

So it kills me when I walk into a packed room and 90%of it is BS. Like you have a cold or my biggest pet peeve are the family field trips. There in the Er for some other reason (family member friend or some shit like that) and figure oh I will get checked out since I am here for this chronic complaint i have had for the last 8 years.

May have to add an entry from tonight. Got one whos a bagel shy of 300 pounds with belly pain for 2 weeks and now is bitching because its almost been an hour and she hasnt been seen yet.

too bad the PA relieving me in the morning is very cool, if it were one or 2 other people I woul dhave no qualms dumping this on them but i am sure I can find something to keep me occupied for another 2 or 3 hours.
