You're like the boy who cried wolf.

It's all: " I WANNA GO!!"

I call and then: "I have to ride my bike, my friend is hung over, I have a hang nail, my vagina hurts, I'm allergic to fun, etc..."

That was only one time...I used all my excuses at once.

I'm sure I was riding my bike though.

Most places in the tri-county area have been built on or shut down. There is still some great riding in the middle of the state.

The Blaster was my way to segway back into the dirt. T feels more comfortable on 4 wheels and I wanted her to be able to join in. She has had a blast the few times she has been out.

I'll definitely be picking up a 2-wheeler after we close on the new place.
Yeah, looked like a good playground to kill some time. That's one thing I disliked about the area down there - not much undeveloped land to play on.

That's awesome you got T out there with you, good move. So far I've only been able to get M into 4-wheelers with full cabins and climate control - aimed for the mall.

I'm keeping my eyes open for a nice CR450F this winter. I don't konw how it'll compare to the CR250's of yester-decade, but it seems pretty easy on the maintenance book. And I don't need another toy that needs work all the time.

The F's are pretty easy maintenance wise. The R's are a bit more high-strung and will need to be rebuilt more often. Nothing like the old 2-smokes though.

I was impressed with how much T liked it, especially when we went mid-state and got seriously dirty.

One of the guys we went with the "The Praire" put up some pics on SoFla, I'll find you the link.

From what he says, you can spend days out there and never hit the same trail. And I've heard of at least 2 MX tracks out this way, one near Raleigh and one near Goldsboro. I'm sure there are more (or hope).
A few more: Speed Compound in Sanford, NCMP in Henderson, Cape Fear MX park in Elizabethtown.
