Tried to count up mileage among 7 bikes i think, real close to 70 K highway miles, 2 crashes. One in '96 after about 1100 mi total experience and one Oct 25th this year after another 60 sumthing thousand miles.

50k and zero crashes on the street. If we're talking dirt, that's a different story, but everybody crashes in the dirt.

I have about 40,000 total on 2 bikes. Have crashed twice within the first 10,000miles. Knock on wood I have been crash-free since. I prefer to get all my crashes in offroad...and I do crash a lot in the dirt. A Lot!

In 3 season on the street and about 11K miles, I had 1 minor crash. Low speed(< 35mph) but still totaled the bike(> $9K in damage).
