i doubt thats why your shifter is sticking though. probobly has more to do with your linkage arm or something. I suggest kicking your bike really hard.

im actually running amsoil right now, high performance. its smooth like butter on a warm day.

Ask the dealer what they use when they change oil. Use that. That's what I use. The first gen R6s have a 2nd gear problem, this doesn't sound like a 2nd gear issue.

I've been using the Rotella for the past few oil changes but I'm always looking for better stuff. Is the amsoil that much better?
