I can get 40mpg riding a spirited pace on the back roads where I not in traffic.
With the 16 tooth sprocket I can putt around in traffic at 40 mph in 6th gear if I want.
I'm sure a few aftermarket goodies would really help both of these bikes, but I compared them both stock to stock.

Norton 961 Commando LE.

Why? Because she's sexy.

There's always ideas floating around in my head depending on what I see for sale.

Had thought about:
06 ZX14
06 or older Z1000
04/05 CBR 1000
2008 250 Ninja for the GF
Older 500 Ninja for the GF
05ish ZX10

If I won the lottery? Probably all of these plus some 2011s and exotics.

First choice: Ducati Multistrada (the 2010+ models).

Since I can't afford any new(ish) bikes right now, that's my short list. Other than that... a motard or other bike I don't mind reserving for track days.

Pretty much agree exactly. Oh, and if I had tons of $$, I do LOVE the RSV4's and really like the MV Augusta.

I'm still waiting to see what Suzuki does with the next gen GSXR, otherwise I'll probably get the S1000R next. I've been looking at Quads as well and would like to get my 2004 LTZ400 back. I loved that rig and it pained me to let it go to move here.

Money is no object? Definitely the MV Augusta F4 R/Special edition what else?
