They make purses that look like they have a flap on the front. Its the concealment pouch.

I have a concealment purse from Coronado. There are tons available. Mine has a concealment pouch with a zipper entry. There is also velcro available on some models. I prefer the zipper because it has a built in lock.

I thought you did and that you would hopefully chime in on the reliability of it.

What Hokie said on the purse since I don't carry one. I have looked at them and they are pretty sweet.
I found that the holster makes a HUGE difference on how well I can conceal so I wouldn't be as hesitant (as I was) in trying to carry a full frame pistol.

The key is dressing for concealing, which means maybe not wearing that cute, tight shirt that you really want to wear. Or wear it but throw a little jacket over it.

Hahahaha! I wonder when Gicci, Coach or Versace will come out with a "concealment purse"?

I have a gsg 1911 in .22 that's been an awesome gun since I bought it. It's not cheap (329) but I'm a big believer in practicing with what you carry. I bought one of the first ones brought in and the newer ones have some updates.

I got a recall notice from Beretta for my Neos, so if you go that route, check the serial number to see if it needs it.

Yeah, that isn't going to happen with my wife. If she is to carry at all, she'll have to use a purse.

the smith I have had for years. it has never failed me and I've shot tons of rounds through it. trigger pull is very heavy. if you want to shoot slow and accurate forget it. if you want to pull up and shoot it is great. many gun shops won't touch it to change the trigger because of other issues.

Have either of you tried many different ammunitions? It would take some of the trial and error out of it for me if I knew what shot the smoothest and cleanest.

nothing fancy here, i usually run Winchester target loads through the SW and it eats them up just fine. I have run some remington through it as well and a couple boxes of hollow points. it honestly hasn't mattered what I loaded in it, it always fires. only drawback to it is the trigger pull.

reliability is right up there with a rock or hammer. it always does what you want it to do.
