Not bad. Looks like a modern day take on a 999 mono.

You'd think the street version would have a workable pillion

I don't even have a workable pillion...Sure there is a seat but nothing to put in it!

I saw that letter this morning. Sounds like some of the people around this forum.

I've questioned his designs in the past, but man I like this bike. I would also like to see price and specs. And hear that fucker at full pin down a front straight.

i like it too. still looks a bit nose heavy but its very manageable. i look forward to seeing it tested.

that said, any gaming of the system this time will put me full throttle in the other direction.

i'll point out for the eb-fanboys that as a token of my fairness to this one i havent once yet giggled about this one having a conventional muffler layout

Not gonna lie. The pipe looks like horseshit. But then again, what stock pipe doesn't.

But i like the tank, and how minimalist the tail section is. Fuck 2 up.

Why is the crank moronic? If I were going to buy a jap liter bike, I'd buy the R1 just for the unique sound and feel. Couldn't care less if it isn't the fastest or highest tech.
