Not really. All of those pics like that you see are a small percentage of the billions and billions of Chinese. From everyone I've talked with that has been there and/or does business with the Chinese, it seems most of the people are in rural areas and are 'poor' compared to the yuppie Chinese people.

Sure, but remember that in total they have at least 4 times as many people as we do. So even if only 5% of them are affluent enough to buy iPads, that'd be like 20% of our population.

I'm trying to see the point you are making.

I was pointing out that those rich Chinese you see are a very small fraction of all of the Chinese. You essentially said the same thing.

no, I didn't know that, but I did know that a very small group of Americans is the same percentage of population for our respective countres as an extremely big group of chinese.
