Deemed acceptable by the school, through their agent the teacher. In grade 12 French I brought a colloquial French dictionary to class, that contained all that implies, and we were encouraged to make use of it in our presentations.

Sacre merde.

*EDIT* Just heard him interviewed. Apparently those videos earned him an A.

I saw the interview. My thought was, how can he earn an A - then with the very same material be burned at the stake? Was there some agreement he violated by posting them on the internet? Was the teacher brought to any charge because he gave a good grade to a student that broke such rules?

From what I remember about school, teachers usually have a lot more sense than administrators.
