You can try all you want, you won't get very far. People want to text/put on makeup/fuck off/multitask in America, you aren't going to make any headway.

I've already accepted this. Its very unlikely that I'll ever own a new car. Much easier to get what I want by piecing used cars together.

You're kidding right? Most Europeans have basic functional point A to point B vehicles. Sports cars and big sedans are the exception-not the rule. Gas is fuckin 6 dollars a gallon.

Right.

They drive manuals because they are cheaper and more efficient.

Americans drive autos because we care more about updating our Facebook status while driving than an extra $3 at the pump.

I aint reading thru 12 pages to pose the question, the only question I want to know about it...

How intrusive is the skip shift feature? I read that the Stang, the Camaro, and the Challenger V8 manuals all have it, but to what extent??

Im not sure about that feature, but the paddle shifting on the steering wheel is horrific. Very rough and not anything close to doing it yourself with a regular stick shift.

I have that shit in my 'Vette. It completely and totally sucks my ass. Wanna know why if you watch my burnout video, I have no fucking reverse lights? Because the guy in the shop I paid to stick a resistor into the connector to disarm that fucking shit put it in the wrong connector, thus disabling my reverse lights instead...and so the thing still steals the fucking stick outta my hand.

...and I got no fucking backup lights.

Horrible. If it can be disabled on the new shit, I'd be on that immediately.

As soon as I get a minute, that shit's going in the air, the the resistor put in the right fucking place. My C4 CAN be "fixed".

Not all of them, they are a shit ton faster than any human will ever be. If you want to race a F1 car, you will be using paddles.

just stopped by at dealership ,

SS convert, stick, w/ RS & 2SS package was "only" $42.5k

only had 1 stick SS on the lot
6-7 converts

salesman said his guess was only 10% buy stick

honestly, while i like stick, the reality is 98% of the time she'll be trodding thru traffic, auto is much better for that.
