Very true.

Bill was not a very good troll. It was easy to see through him and you knew he was a good guy. I guess we didnt know just how good.

Yup, if you ever talked to him 1 on 1, you know that Bill was a great guy, and always willing to give good advice. He could come across as a bit of an ass on here, but he was just having fun.

So strange. Its been 10+ years that i've known the guy online, and I keep expecting a post from him anytime. So strange that he's gone. we had a lot of great talks back in the day.

Gonna miss him, for sure.

At the visitation yesterday - His family was very down to earth

Turns out Bill played sax as a kid......Went to tech school after HS so that he could work on cars. After a couple years (?) of that he got accepted into GMIT for electrical engineering. Worked in MI for awhile after that, but later transferred out to Cali, with year-round riding being one of the motivations.

As part of his job, he went to Japan a few times. Apparently, a couple of the Japanese engineers he worked with flew out here to attend the visitation. They handed his family a letter from one of Isuzu's Vice Presidents, talking about how much they benefitted from working with Bill.

Among the many pics laid out at the visitation, I thought this one was the best...

Thanks Homeslice.

I'd also love to see him with his riding gloves on. He must have had a real huge passion (beyond most) for motorcycles if his family thought to put gloves on him.
