I gots nothing... I should have took pics yesterday... went all thru downtown, saw lots of good stops to take pics but didn't.
From last weekend... after I winterized the nightster, the mower, genny, snowblower, and set the garage up for winter. I will still ride my bike for another month hopefully. |

Guessing "genny" means Generator. Why would you winterize that? Wouldn't the winter be the time most likely for that to be used?

When you Winterize a generator you usually clean everything and tune it up so it starts right away rather than having to bust your balls in the worst weather. Sitting in the cold is different than sitting in the heat and/or sitting in dry weather versus wet weather.

But it's still a pain to start in the winter cause it's cold. If I do, I usually set it in front of the kero heater to heat it up before I go for the rip cord. I try to run the genny a few times a year, and top off the gas. This time, due to it being topped off in the summer last... needed a bunch of gas. I have found that lack of air in the gas tank with seafoam helps the gas stay fresh. |

Once a year I run the whole tank through and then change the oil just to let it know I care

We always actually used our gen to power everything so it would actually get a load 2-3 times a year, and there was always stabil / seafoam in the gas.
