I always mount from the left due to years of riding horses. It's 'icky' to get on on the right for some reason..

I do the same thing! I dont think I could even get on the bike from the right side...

Me too! But I just figured I did it because of my horseback riding days...always mount the horse from the left side.

Since I pretty much ride at the crack of dawn

1. Wake up at about 5AM - 5:30AM
2. Start up the coffee maker
3. Turn on the computer
4. Make the coffee
5. Check weather, news maybe a couple of naughty sites.
6. Once coffees is done hit the can try and drop a duece..wash hands brush teeth.
7. Open garage door remotely
8. toss on weather approrprate apparell.
9. kiss wife on the forehead
10. go outside and move wifes car
11. Get in the garage
12. check oil site glass
13. Give the chain a once over
14. Get bike off sidestand and roll it out of the garage where i put it back on the sidestand
15. Get gear together..toss on boots and jacket. Put gloves and helmet on the hood of wifes car.
16. start bike
17. Toss in earplugs
18. Toss on helmet
19. Toss on gloves
20. Close garage door
21. get on bike back out of driveway and coast down the hill to the stop sign.
22. Keep the motor under 2K rpm until I'm out of the neighborhood (2 minutes)
23. Keep the motor under 3K until I get to the expressway (4 minutes)
24. Do exactly speed limit on expressway for about another 5 minutes
25. ride normally

Hmmmmm...I do prefer to put my left gauntlet on first. Other than that, nothing.

that's cause the right side is the "high" side... and you're too short
