Ebbs... for me its a way of life. Hell the guys around the garage don't even think much of it anymore. They expect it!

Was doing some more today... but to the wife's bike. The only done to my bike was putting it back on the lift.

Update for today:

Here's a pic of the backside mounting hardware for the mirror

Being I have to wait for a bulb swap I want to put some of it back together...

Put the clear cover on the power block

Double sided tape it to the top of the radio. Fit perfectly under the Hogtunes amp

For now, till I wire in the TDR, I just plugged it straight in on the stock wiring

And lit up is why I have to HID the spot lights

I love the color of the headlight. Its PERFECT. Its a 55W 8K.

As before here are the things I got for the wife's bike

Front Axle

After:

Some primary action

Work:

After:

but now the chain cover looks out of place. A simple black cover from the dealer from a sportster R model. Fits nicer

The Timing cover

After:

I've never cared for the mirror mounted front turns

Remove the mirror set screw

Pull the old stem off

After re-routing the wiring, mount the new stalks to the lower tripple and a much nicer look.

I just didn't care for the flipped stock version. This looks more "normal" to me.

Picked up a set of FLH lower nylon covers. With a little modification they will work.

This is how they are now. There is too much material. The FLH is simply wider than the sporty.

A simply fold and stich will do the trick. So I folded it now and pinned it. Will get my sister to stitch.

But should look like this once done and hopefully will allow the wife to ride in lower temps.

But is it 55W? Mine is... it bleaches out alot of the blue. It should be real close to my 35W 6k passing lamp bulbs

So I got my slack stiching done...

But there was a "flap" on the top upper corners... so a new seem there. Mark and pin it... then stitch

Trial fit and cut off the excess

Repeated for other side.

But now I notice its dangerously close to the exhaust on the right one. So I'm fashioning up something to piece in there to keep it off the exhaust. we'll see.

In the Ultra dept...

Got the HID bulbs in the mail for exchange and the new lenses are on their way.
