Default another rider lost...

just got word that my husband's uncle was killed on his motorcycle this morning on the way to work. he wasn't even a mile from his house. we don't have many details yet, but i will keep you posted.

thanks everyone. i will pass your kind words along to my husband.

so far all we know is that someone pulled out in front of him from a side road and he was thrown from the bike. he had a faint heartbeat when EMS arrived, but was DOA at the hospital. he was 1.75 miles from home. classic, isn't it? stupid cagers!

oh yeah, he was not wearing a helmet (don't know if it woulda mattered though).

God rest his soul and comfort his family!

This sorta thing is so sobering as I commute on my bike almost everyday through city traffic. I take it for granted alot that I always make it to and from work without incident.
