So I was scrolling through the dish guide and came across this show. I guess it's based on the original show because it has Kelly in it, but these kids are fucking old. They are suppose to be in high school and they look older than me and I am going on 30. I turned it off, its terrible.

you can thank the general shortage of intelligence in the younger female crowd for this garbage on tv. I have to be CONSTANTLY bombarded by ads for gossip girl, fucking one tree hill, and a ton of other shows that I already know are absolutely horrible. its the efforts of one station to make their shows more chick oriented. bah. the dumbasses that watch that shit shouldnt be allowed to watch tv, or even live for that matter. yeah I hate stupidity.

don't the tv people know you can't drink from the same well twice? i actually watched some of it last night myself. it is very angst-ridden. not the campy fun the original was. why does everything hafta be so sreoius for kids nowadays? and having the original kelly, brenda and even kelly's mom is just a cheap shot at success by trying to attract the old audience. not happening, we are all 30+ now.

I DVR'd the first episode last week and

I kinda liked it. There were enough references/connections to the old series (which I loved) that made it somewhat entertaining. And the main "popular" girl (with the curly blonde hair) who's an evil bitch was also an evil bitch on "Nip/Tuck" so I was curious to see her in it....

I didn't watch this week's and probably won't end up watching it regularly, but I found it amusing at least.
