But why should she listen to her son?

again that shows a lack of maturity... maturity would recognize that he's an experience rider first... her son second.

but really she should trust HIS opinion above all considering he wouldn't want her to get hurt and would give her a no bullshit pov

Honestly, I don't think she'd actually go through with it. I'd be surprised if she gets any bike.

JTemple,

How the heck did your mom know about the Hayabusa much less wanting one?

Anyway, if she's serious about riding then have her talk with your other riding buddies and have them warn her about hopping on the Busa for a first bike. Make sure she understands that after a few thousand miles under her belt, she can ride whatever she wants, but it's just the beginning portion that she needs to be reasonble with.

She goes to bike nights and stuff. She's fairly recently divorced, and on the dating scene (I know, creepy when it's your mom). Her neighbor is a younger guy that has a Hayabusa. She's always talking about how cool she thinks his bike is, and how comfortable it is to sit on.

She has been into jetskis for years, and has been through (and currently owns) some pretty fast jetskis. So, she's kind of a speed demon. What she doesn't understand is that any idiot can jump on her Sea Doo and hammer the throttle. A bike is a different kind of animal.

Honestly, I think it's all talk.

That's actually not a bad idea. That would ensure she takes it, and who knows, I could probably brush up on some skills.
