Default FZ1 problems

OK a co worker of mine has a 2002 FZ1. He put a hole in his oil cooler assembly (not the radiator looking thing) when he was changing the oil (oops).
After getting that welded, and putting everything back together when he started it, it ran for a little bit when suddenly oil came out of the coolant overflow tank, and coolant out near the carbs.

Any ideas? It was the first time it has been run this season after being winterized.

TIA for the help.
