It's not the risk of death... it's my pathological fear of heights. Put me on a ladder I start to get antsy. Rappel tower (at least the last time I tried to climb one, post-bad-experience-falling-whilst-rappelling) = hyperventilation. I'd probably just have a heart attack on the side of a mountain.
