its in pemberton new jersey, just outside of ft dix. and its a bike/atv/jetski/small boat shop but they also do regular automotive repair.

my 'blade is an '03 i dont think there were any made in '04 since that was the debut year for the 1000rr just did some searching since id never heard anything about slappers on them but its apparently a problem for some people. guess imight look into a steering damper sometime

there was a comparison done a couple years ago in one of the major mags... I think the Hotbodies undertail exhausts were the loudest... Micron was up there... but D&D is usually considered the loudest... they have a unique sound IMO... it's not that it's loud... it's that it's so high pitched...

They were made for what 3 years?

It must have been 2002 then... one year they went to the tapered roller bearings.. the neck was WAY too loose so they went back the following year.

I know... i rode one... buddy just got it... wanted me to take it on a shake down... doing about 135.. go WOT on it... into a full tank slap... he was watching the whole thing from a truck as I was passing him...

needless to say it puckered up my starfish!!

i like the rumblies too but i gotta admit i LOOOOVVE the high pitch. sounds like a freaking F1 car to me

2 years, 2002 and 2003. i must have one of the better ones, had that powerwheelie the other day and ive had that thing where the front lifts a bit accelerating hard down hill and its NEVER given any indication of doing it. then again. after the one i had on the hurricane im extra careful about firm even pressure on the bars lol

Yeah do some checking... they may have only done it for a half year... don't remember.
