A guy I work with may be interested in the Thruxton. I'll let him know about this post and the picture post

Also, could you write down your "test drive rules" ( deposit, MC license etc). He'll be buying a cycle now that his kid has grown and is out of the house. I want him to know what to expect.

Gotta tell ya that Thruxton is a sweeeeeet ride. I almost kept it (ya, sure , almost). If I find a really nice one again like that one, I might just very well make it my daily ride. Lotsa torque, smooth motor, decent handling at 7/10th's and comfortable. 60-65 MPG with a steady throttle hand.

i hear they roar up top with pods exhaust and the appropriate jetting

I had my eye on a Thruxton back before I decided to go the cruiser route and bought my Warrior... and those Staintunes would have been on my mod list.
