You know those times you get to a store, restaurant, club, etc and you have to keep circling looking for a parking space...
Rather than waste that time, you should be able to get out of the car and it cruises the parking lot looking for a space while you take care of business.
Now THAT would be smart design.
I can see so much shit going wrong with that.. just pictured the car rolling out of the parking lot and cruising down the street all slow like. I guess they could add sensors to the parking lot to prevent that.

You're about 2 or 3 years behind. Its already been done with testing stages. Showed the guy get out, the car went and found an empty spot. When its time to leave, the guy called up the car and it left the parking spot and stopped right in front of him.

Sensors, gps, camera's and some others stuff to make it happen.

Yeah, but I'm saying, that the average person can buy and make use of.
I mean, we HAVE laser guns and flying cars... just not that anyone can buy and legally operate.
If half the shit that Popular Mechanics has told us is coming actually mades it within reach of the consumer, I'd be damned impressed.
