Whats makes it OK for the officer on the scooter to speed? Not a damn thing unless there is an emergency. Same applies to police cruisers on the interstate. The limit is 70, not 78 or 82. Around here they love to tailgate so you move over so they can continue on their way doing 10 plus over the limit. Which in VA 15 over limit or anything over 80 is reckless. unless your a piggy..

yeah i've had some interesting run ins with cops in the past. got "paced" by one in an unmarked 2wd van, in a blizzard in WI. I had a 4wd truck in 4 hi because of snow and was trying to get to a place without him. i would slow he would slow, speed up he would speed up.
finally we got stopped on a light. i left the light quick and got in front of him. then he turned on the lights. screamed in my window like a little girl and didn't enjoy it when I mentioned taking the ticket to court should he decide to write one. we had "road rage" cops for awhile in WI. their job was to cut in front of you and essentially piss you off so you would react and they would call the light car. Luckily when I seen that guy I was going hunting. no way in hell I would react in anyway with guns in my vehicle. As I simply changed lanes and drove passed him I could see his badge on his sleeve. the marked cars were up the road a couple blocks. The scooter was something I wouldn't have expected. May go back this weekend just to cruise around with him. LOL I need a shirt that says "i'm with the cop" with an arrow pointing. LOL |

We have/had two cops that ride the same enduros. Can't think of the model but both are yamaha's and blue. I have no clue to what they do. Haven't seen them in a year now.
We also have CHiPS. They love to tag team vehicles. Either one will hide behind something with the radar and the other waits or one will ride around and then call in his buddy. |
