neither can I untill I started seeing karens CC bills (and guess whos paying that off) My balances snuck up a bit from time to time but was able to see where it happened and had a plan to take care of it.

the more I hear about this financial mess the more I think each person shoudl bail themselves out since many of them put themselves in that spot in the first palce . Be it unnecessary CC spending, not researching their mortgages, or not realizing an ARM will have rates that do go up.

I agree. People should bail themselves out. I've made my mistakes, though not to the tune that other people have. But, I am correcting those. Not crying Uncle and asking someone else to bail me out.
