I heard that!

It could be luck or it could be the experience/intelligence to know how to pick your spots. I ride really hard but you can believe that I slow down and cover my brakes when ever I come to an intersection and ESPECIALLY when there's a car approaching or in it. Knowing when and where will increase your luck factor by 10 easily!

The older I get, the slower I get. I just don't heal quick anymore. Those that know me know that I have one shoulder higher than the other, that I walk with a permanent limp and that my spine looks like WV Rt9.... all from various encounters with the surface of the road or other vehicles.

The older I get, the more I've come to realize that speed on the street=decrease in available reaction time.

Some of us get to make a major mistake, live through it, and hopefully teach others not to make that same mistake. Few listen, but I'm grateful for those few.
